Metronor is a provider of state-of-the-art metrology solutions for manufacturing industries, covering a wide range of applications and market segments like automotive, casting, aerospace, machining, oil processing industries etc. Our business covers all aspects of Geometry Assurance of advanced manufacturing and assembly processes by providing hardware / software tools like Portable Coordinate Measurement Machines (PCMM) and Dimensional Management systems (planning, execution, database storage and analysis of dimensional statistical data). The company holds unique competencies within electro-optics, meteorology and photogrammetry and its technology base is protected by numerous patents (granted and pending). A product derivative of the PCMM solution has been developed specifically addressing market requirements for more cost effective solutions for boresighting applications of aerospace and ground vehicles. A military qualified dedicated system is now offered that not only can determine Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for orientation, but also position in 3D, hence allowing for calibration of tomorrows sensors like optical helmet tracking systems. The company has a world wide distributed partner network, which is supported by the company's HQ and subsidiaries in Seattle and Beijing.
