At this time we are approaching 140 participants from 9 nations, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Sweden.
The matchmaking is organised within the framework of the EDF project Enhanced Opportunities for All (EOA). The event will be supported by the European Commission (EC).
The info day (28 January) will provide the opportunity to dive into the EDF 2026 work programme and calls topics. The European Commission has been invited toprovide an overview of the EDF program and the work program for 2026. Furthermore, we have also invited the Commission to give an update on the implementation of SAFE, the upcoming European Defence Industry Program (EDIP) and The Defence Industry Transformation Roadmap, as well as an overview of the ECs proposal for defence industrial programs in the next MFF.
The Nordic governments will present their national approaches to the EDF 2026 work programme, aiming at providing clarity and facilitating cooperation.
Furthermore, we will endeavour to facilitate opportunities to ask questions and receive guidance on how to approach administrative and legal procedures governing the EDF-program.
Nordic companies with successful participation in the EDF will be invited to share their best practices.
The matchmaking day (29 January), organised within the framework of the EDF EOA project, will provide opportunities for structured dialogue between participating entities with the aim of identifyingopportunities for cooperation and establishing consortia in preparation for responding to calls in the EDF 2026 work program.

Social Event
A social event for all participants to the Nordic EDF Information Day (Day 1) will be organised in the evening of 28 January.
Both events will be open to entities from all EU member states and Norway, and companies may choose to participate on one or both days.
