Bravo Intelligence & Technology AS (BIT) is a Norwegian technology company developing vendor-independent mission-assurance capabilities for autonomous and AI-enabled systems operating in defence, security, critical infrastructure, and emergency preparedness environments.
BIT’s core development area is a control, runtime-assurance, and evidence layer intended to verify system and mission identity, enforce delegated operational authority, detect when authorised conditions are no longer satisfied, and support proportionate intervention before an unauthorised or unsafe action is executed.
The architecture is designed to distinguish between platform, payload, sensing and communications, and effector authority. These authority scopes are intended to remain independently verifiable, degradable, and auditable, including during degraded or intermittent communications. Loss of connectivity must not implicitly expand a system’s authorised scope.
BIT is developing BIT Mission Assurance as a platform-independent capability for integration with unmanned, autonomous, and AI-enabled systems across air, land, maritime, and distributed operational environments. The objective is to provide verifiable traceability across the sensor–decision–authority–action chain without replacing the underlying vehicle, autonomy system, AI model, or command-and-control platform.
BIT is also developing a Sovereign AI Assessment and Pilot Programme to help organisations evaluate AI governance, system assurance, operational risk, data sovereignty, regulatory readiness, and requirements for controlled deployment in security-critical environments.
BIT is currently in an early-stage development and industrial establishment phase. The company is seeking selected defence and security companies, research institutions, system integrators, and qualified technology partners for requirements validation, technical integration, demonstrators, testing, and the development of deployable capabilities.
